ID/INFO EXPO 2005

The National Institute of Animal Agriculture (NIAA) will be hosting the ID/INFO EXPO 2005 this September 27-29th at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel.    This unique event is a conference and trade show covering a variety of topics dealing with the National Animal Identification System.  The trade show will showcase a variety of animal identification manufacturers and information systems service providers.

This event provides the equine industry with a great opportunity to learn about the important topic of animal identification.  Program topics include an NAIS overview, implementation of the program, accomplishments and future plans, funding and confidentiality, technology opportunities and pilot project updates.  There will also be a pre-conference seminar “Ask the Experts” panel, where industry members can ask questions about the NAIS and plans of the specific species working groups.

NIAA is offering discounts for early registration before July 31, as well as discounts for NIAA members.  There will also be a special room rate at the Crowne Plaza for those attending the ID/INFO EXPO.  Reservations must be made by August 26, 2005 in order to guarantee the special rate.
