American Horse Council and Pfizer Animal Health Form Alliance
The American Horse Council would like to welcome Pfizer Animal Health as its most recent Gold Sponsor. “We are very pleased that Pfizer Animal Health is supporting the AHC’s efforts in Washington D.C. This is a very exciting opportunity for the AHC to continue its work with the animal health field and advocate for horses and horse owners across the nation.” said Jay Hickey, AHC President. Pfizer Animal Health joins other sponsors that have joined the AHC in an effort to protect and improve the horse industry.
Pfizer Animal Health has partnered with the American Horse Council in their efforts to support all facets of the equine industry. The American Horse Council’s initiatives to lead and protect all horses through communication, education and legislation align well with Pfizer Animal Health’s mission to protect the health and wellness of these animals. “Pfizer Animal Health is thrilled to help the American Horse Council support and lead the U.S. horse industry,” said Kristin Ruff, Sr. Equine Marketing Manager at Pfizer Animal Health. “We look forward to working with them in their efforts to address the many crucial issues affecting horses, including the unwanted horse problem.”
The American Horse Council works on issues in Washington that affect the horse industry both directly and indirectly including issues involving equine health and welfare, taxes, racing, immigration, etc. The impact and influence that the AHC has had on the horse industry is indisputable. Many of the activities that equestrians enjoy with their horses have been affected by the American Horse Council’s hard work and efforts to preserve the integrity of the horse industry.
